Visit Us

The majority, about two-thirds, of the works of art in the Government Art Collection are on display in Government buildings in the UK and around the world. The rest is held at our central London premises awaiting reselection and display.

You can visit our London premises by booking one of our regular evening group tours. Here you will have the chance to see a selection of works from the Collection, hear about our history and role and get a behind-the-scenes look at works as they are prepared for display.

Pre-booked tours for established groups (maximum 20 people) happen three times a month on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings, each one lasting up to one hour. Demand for tours is high, so early booking is essential.

PLEASE NOTE: Our REGULAR EVENING GROUP TOURS are FULLY booked for 2012, with limited availability during 2013 which is as follows; Weds 31 July, Tues 13 August, Weds 28 August and Weds 27 November.
