Open House London is an annual event, when buildings throughout London open their doors to the public. This year it takes place on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September.

At the GAC, visitors will have the chance to see works of art that are ready for selection by ambassadors and ministers and visit the technical workshop to find out how works are maintained and prepared for display around the world.

The visit also includes a tour of Reframing the Past, a special themed display exploring how visual motifs from the past developed, circulated and survived in history through a selection of historical, modern and contemporary works by artists including Isaac Julien, Gayle Chong Kwan and Peter Blake.
